Derek has been sick for a few days with the flu. Flus always trigger an asthma problem with him. His cough got so bad and he had a temperature so we took him to the ER at midnight last night. He was a very sick young man. They took really good care of him and he is feeling a lot better today. He hates needles so when they wanted to give him an I.V. he tensed up so bad that his muscles started pushing the needle back out. She was also a rookie, or so it seemed. But fortunately it was time for the changing of the guards, and we got us a new nurse, also a very good nurse, not only was she good with the needles, she was great with making a person feel more comfortable. She did this by being educational and teaching Derek exactly what was going to happen and showing him the equipment that she would be using. We really liked her. At the end we asked her if she new anything about the church because she had said that she was from Pennsylvania. She said that she was actually reading the Book of Mormon and that her and her husband were very interested in our church. It made us feel good that we had asked, but more glad that she was already interested, she was so nice!
Notice the time, we still didn't leave for another forty-five minutes.
